Advising on the acquisition or sale of development land, either by a Registered Provider buying from a landowner or a developer selling to a Registered Provider.  We draft, negotiate and complete all necessary documentation. This includes conditional contracts or option agreements in order to ensure that a Registered Provider or a landowner and developer can secure their requirements.

Advising, drafting and negotiating the acquisition or sale of affordable housing, either by a Registered Provider buying from a developer or a developer selling to a Registered Provider. This is done by way of agreements for the sale of partially constructed units and completion of the construction of the units thereafter. This includes requirements for or advice on VAT, stage or monthly valuation payments, inspection, certification, retentions and defect arrangements.

Drafting, advising and completing agreements between Registered Providers for the transfer of affordable housing units to include all payment and defect requirements to ensure a satisfactory sale and purchase arrangement for both parties.

Advice on and obtaining all necessary sale setup information to enable the sale of shared ownership lease to proceed. Drafting shared ownership leases and negotiating and completing the sale of shared ownership units for Registered Providers.

Advice and guidance on planning, planning agreements and negotiating and completing any variation required to planning to ensure that the provision of affordable housing required by a planning agreement can proceed and the Registered Provider is able to use the completed affordable housing as security for any future loans.
