COP Training Morning Brings Expert Insight on Welfare Benefits, Personal Injury Trusts and Employment Law

Davies and Partner’s specialist Court of Protection (COP) team recently hosted a dedicated training morning, bringing together legal and financial professionals to share expertise and strengthen knowledge across key areas.

Head of Court of Protection Emma Costin and Head of Employment Alex Lyttle were delighted to welcome Adam Booth and Ian Woodall from Chase de Vere, who delivered an informative session on welfare benefits and personal injury trusts. Their presentation provided valuable insights into the financial considerations that can arise following serious injury and the support available to individuals and families navigating complex circumstances.

The event also featured a presentation from Alex Lyttle, who discussed settlement agreements and explored upcoming changes to employment law expected in 2026. Attendees gained a practical understanding of the evolving legal landscape and the implications for both employers and employees.

The training morning was attended by colleagues from Barcan & Kirby and Wards Solicitors, creating an excellent opportunity for professional collaboration and networking.

By bringing together specialists from across the legal and financial sectors, the event reinforced our commitment to ongoing professional development and ensuring our teams remain up to date with developments that help us deliver the highest standard of service to our clients.

We would like to thank all of our speakers and attendees for contributing to a successful and engaging morning.
