A new bespoke client App has been launched by Davies and Partners Solicitors which
is set to streamline the way clients interact with their solicitors and make processes such as buying and selling property simpler, quicker, easier and more efficient.
Clients can download the Davies and Partners App from Apple/Play Store free of charge and can apply for and receive a quotation for work in less than a minute. Once a quote has been generated clients simply need to accept the quote on the App and work can begin.
The App is set to be a game changer for clients, with transaction administration no longer relying on personal ID and security information being sent in the post. Instead, clients can simply upload images of their photo ID, with verification being secured via biometric testing within the App, against a client’s uploaded selfie image. Other documentation such as bank statements, signed letters and verified fund information can all be uploaded direct to the App greatly speeding up the transaction process.
To ensure clients always have up to the minute information, the App provides notifications whenever a key stage or task in the legal process has been reached, saving unnecessary time spent calling and emailing a solicitor.
All documentation including contract and mortgage documents are sent to clients through the App for them to sign digitally, meaning important personal documentation always remains in their possession, with no need to send in the post which can cause unnecessary delays or even result in documentation being lost.
The Davies and Partners App provides clear transparency for both the client and the solicitor, showing how far tasks have been completed. The App even sends reminders to clients to complete any of the outstanding Key Stages, to ensure processes remain as efficient as possible.
Davies and Partners has been streamlining the design of the App over the last year to ensure it offers client the very best digital service. Commenting, Director Kirsten Compton who has headed up the App development project said, “We are delighted to be able to offer our clients this new and highly efficient service which will hugely improve the speed with which transactions are completed. Currently we are using the service for our residential conveyancing and new homes clients, but we will be rolling it out across our private client services over the coming months.”
“Clients will of course still be able to speak or meet directly to their lawyer whenever they want to. But this is a game changer in increasing the efficiency and speed of transactions. It also helps us to reduce our carbon footprint and takes us a step closer to our goal to become a paper-lite firm.”
