Duncan heads up the expanding Corporate and Commercial Department; he has a wealth of experience in all areas of business law, during his career he has worked in private practice and as an in-house legal advisor, making Duncan well placed to advise his business clients.
Clear, pragmatic and knowledgeable, Duncan has the experience and organisational skills to meet his clients objectives and drive their transaction to a successful conclusion.
Duncan advises numerous owner managed businesses and entrepreneurs as well as large PLC and institutional clients. He also advises a wide variety of professionals, banks and building societies, charities and organisations in the “not for profit” sector.
Duncan advises on a large variety of corporate, acquisition and property finance projects from relatively small scale to those in excess of £300 million; he has particular expertise in acquisitions and disposals of companies, overseas investments, property development and company restructuring
