Jan heads up the Construction Law Department advising her clients in relation to all aspects of construction from negotiation of building contracts, appointment of the design and build team to development and project agreements and security documents associated with the development
Practical, knowledgeable and approachable, with many years of experience, Jan works closely with her clients on construction procurement and dispute resolution.
Jan has worked in the construction sector for many years and advises on a wide variety of construction projects, including schools, community facilities, commercial buildings, retail and care homes and individual homes.
Jan also handles disputes relating to construction projects; she understands that disputes are often an unwelcome drain on her clients’ time and resources and risk affecting their commercial relationships, reputation and sometimes solvency.
Jan is experienced in all aspects of construction law and recommends that clients take legal advice well before “putting a spade in the ground”.
