Katherine Pearce

Katherine heads up the Bristol medical negligence team and has worked with clients and their families who have experienced substandard care for over 13 years.
She is down-to-earth and thorough. She supports clients through investigations and litigation with care, determination and honesty.
Katherine works on all types of complex cases and has a particular interest in neurosurgery and spinal cord claims. She also has extensive experience in cases involving baby loss .
As the parent of a child with cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus, Katherine has personal experience with the challenges clients face.
She works closely with Shine, a charity supporting those with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. She was instrumental in helping Shine set up a national legal advice service.
Katherine is passionate about patient safety and working to ensure lessons are learned to prevent errors from happening in the future. She provides compassionate, supportive and straightforward advice to clients.
