Richard has extensive experience acting for clients with life-changing injuries such as spinal injuries, brain injury, poly-trauma and amputations.
He has a special interest in amputation cases and has acted for multiple amputees over the last 15 years.

He also acts for clients who have suffered medical accidents. This includes the most serious claims such as birth injuries.
He has experience of taking on cases from other solicitors where their lack the expertise to deal with the claim or where they have advised acceptance of a low offer. In one such case, he recovered more than x10 the amount the original solicitor advised the client to accept.

Richard is approachable, empathetic and makes sure that his client is at the centre of the claim. He is expert in assembling a strong team to represent his clients. However, he never loses sight that it is the client’s claim. He prides himself on being able to guide clients through the complexities of a case working in a collaborative manner.
